Few people know the Petalioi exist. Scattered off the southern tip of Evia, this small, privately owned archipelago is almost entirely untouched — pale sand, low hills of wild thyme, and shallows that glow the colour of a swimming pool under the midday sun.
There is no ferry, no beach bar, no crowd. Only the sea, your boat and a full day to drift from one lagoon-like bay to the next. The journey there is part of the pleasure: a long, cinematic run down the South Evian Gulf, with the mountains of Evia on one side and the Attic coast on the other, returning north as the light turns gold.

Sea conditions
The Petalioi lie at the open southern end of the gulf. If the wind rises, your captain will choose the most sheltered side of the islands — or propose a beautiful alternative closer to Eretria.
